Can you have your period without actually HAVING your period??

I went for bloodwork last weds night b/c he wanted to check my levels and to see if I had ovulated. On sunday morning I woke up cramping and saw a tinge of brown blood. So I thought YAY AF is FINALLY coming. Nope...
Weds morning same thing. I was cramping then saw a tinge of brown. So I thought ok NOW AF is coming. Nope..
Doctor called back saying that I indeed ovulated and my period should be here like now. Well I said that I think it's coming b/c i'm starting to spot VERY slightly. He said ok good just wait it out. Ok well i'm still waiting and nothing. Now i'm not cramping anymore, there's no more brown blood and i'm not bloated anymore.
Sooooooooo W TF???

I also made my first appt with an RE for May 4th which i'm VERY excited about. My gyno is not very aggressive at all and doesn't seem to be concerned with the fact that I haven't had a period in almost 3 months and i'm not pregnant or anything.

Sorry this was a lot longer than I thought it would be lol

im not sure. i wouldnt think you were pregnant because if you just saw the Dr I would think he would know. But maybe I am wrong. I would wait it out. The sono tech told me I was getting my period any day now and I got it like 4 or 5 days later. so that could be whats happening. But good luck and to u!!!!

i have had AF like that - actually my first AF post-partum was like that. no red blood, just brown, and only lasted a couple of days. then i spotted again a week later.

i would wait a few days and see what happens.

You can have a very light period... your lining just might not have gotten very thick...
