This is what I hand the sono tech before
my level 2.
Last year when I was pg with Ayla my level 2 appt. was 4 days before Christmas. Ayla's poem was different of course. The tech filled in the blank and she stuck it in a wrapped box. I put it under the tree and we opened it on Christmas. This year it's Halloween, so we might open it up right before we all go trick or treating!
The tech just has to fill in the blank!
Here's our little poem,
I’m sending you greetings with love
I am the baby that was sent from above
You’re all anxious to see me, I know
But now is the time for me to grow.
Daddy thinks I am a girl, Mommy’s sure I’m a boy.
My big sisters don’t care as long as they have someone to love & annoy!
I can’t wait to meet you
You have so much love for me
Although you’re finding out my sex, your true prayer is that I’m healthy.
Okay here comes the moment you couldn’t miss. I’m a baby ______
Now you can all hug and kiss!!!!

That is so cute!!!! I would love to do this, but we are not finding out what it is, and we would definitely open the envelope or box to find out. Too tempting for us.
Maybe you can open it up on Thanksgiving with your whole family?

my birthday is on Thanksgiving. I know for a fact DH will never wait a month.
It's an awesome, priceless surprise waiting until birth, but since we aren't waiting......we wanted to at least make it personal and special. I keep the poems and put them in their scrapbooks.

lol, I see your point, I wouldn't be able to wait either if I was finding out!  That is adorable that you put them in the scrapbooks!!! Such a cute idea!

That is truly adorable. I wish I would have thought of doing something like that. We found out the gender a week before our one year anniversary. I would have loved to have waited and made it an occasion.
