This is so physically and emotionally draining...
I wake up at 6am, get Alex dressed and off to school, go to work, take a 2 hour break at the hospital with my dad, go back to work, go back to the hospital at 5pm, go home at 6:30pm, play with Alex, put her to sleep, clean up, get her lunch prepared, go to sleep and the same thing the next day.
I'm feeling so rundown... and the worst is seeing my dad. It just kills me to see him in this condition. He's definitely doing better, but he still can't get up on his own or walk without a walker. He keeps going into diabetic shock and everytime his blood sugar or blood pressure drops, he becomes totally incoherent and totally out of it, and I can't lie, it upsets me SO much to seem him like this.
The good thing... he's getting sent to an in-patient rehab center either tomorrow or Saturday, and it's about 2 minutes from our house, so I won't feel like I'm juggling quite so much once he's closer to home, and be able to spend more time with him and with Alex.
Phew. Just had to get that off my chest...

I'm sorry you are feeling so drained.
Having lost both of my parents and they were Ill, I know what it does to you.
Take a deep Breath and remember that you are a good Daughter and they would have done the same if you were sick as a child.

you are doing so much. You deserve a break. I know exactly what you are going through.
I hope your dad has a speedy recovery.
My brother is probably going to rehab soon as well. Hopefully both will do really well there.
