This is probably really stupid (contraction related question)

For the past hour it's felt like is literally trying to kick her way out of the side of my stomach. It feels like really hard kicks that then move around in that area but stays concentrated on my left side. This can't be contraction related, can it? It definitely feels like a tightening, but also like a kick. It's high though, a few inches past my belly button. I'm in so much pain right now! I want this to be the beginning of the end, but I have a feeling she's just practicing her best Rockette moves in there.

I feel exactly the same way as you toward the end of my pregnancy . And guess what I started to feel like this around 3pm and I was in labor at 6am the next morning. Looks like wanna come out & play !

I don't think so. A contraction feels like tightening all over, or sometimes like a menstrual/poop cramp. I am sometimes confused myself, can't tell if its the
baby moving or I'm feeling contractions.
I figure if at some point they start happening at a regular interval or get stronger/more intense, I'll know its for real!
