NO ONE should have death threats, have their wife be in fear with a newborn baby alone at home.

He deserved to have the book deal pulled, his own party is turning on him already and he's dashed his own hopes of running for POTUS and he literally just took office. He KNEW full well there was NO evidence and NO proof of fraud but he went along with the hysterics of Trump and is guilty of riling his base up which led to Wednesday's events.
Even after these psychos stormed the Capital Hawley in all of his infinite stupidity continued to object to the vote and $hit stir. There is blood on his hands, he's just as bad as Trump and any backlash he's getting is well deserved. He should resign, he is in over his head.
ETA - The "poor man"????? Hawley isn't a victim, he did this to himself.

This didn't happen. It was on video and there was no call to law enforcement about any threat or harassment to his family. Hawley lied about it just like how he has lied about the election. He also has no legal leg to stand on regarding his book deal and he knows it. It's one thing to have an opinion and there's another to incite violence and commit sedition. It's people like you who are naïve and ignorant enough to believe the lies.
You should find legit and more accurate sources of information because time and time again you show how misinformed you are, or you just choose to be willfully ignorant.

IT'S NOT FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO INCITE VIOLENCE. It's stare decisis...like yelling "fire" in a crowded theater isn't protected speech.
But if you want to go there and think Hawley's inciting violence is protected speech - then so are death threats. Can't have it both ways.

Again, as I stated earlier - you really can't compare the BLM protests which were protesting the systemic racisms in this country on the heels of yet another DEAD BLACK MAN at the hands of the police with an attempted coup of government for following a democratic process because a narcissist lost a fair election.
And you know what - maybe those that were looting and rioting at the BLM protests were really Trump supporters that we pretending to be BLM protesters? Or maybe they were those paid protesters that you mentioned earlier?

Funny how I just heard late night show hosts condemned the acts yesterday but never did the burning of the cities. Very sad how we pick and choose what it means to be a bad human being. All violence should be condemned no matter what the origin is.

Yes. You have to really research because the media is dismissing it but some, not all, were Antifa & BLM protesters.

He is a fool!
FACT is, Hawley demonstrated to all that he is VERY CLEARLY as green as can be, has NO idea how to conduct himself as a congressman and that despite his impressive pedigree, was not remotely smart enough to distance himself from the right wing conspiracy theories and the unhinged ramblings of a treasonous president.

And you know what - maybe those that were looting and rioting at the BLM protests were really Trump supporters that we pretending to be BLM protesters? Or maybe they were those paid protesters that you mentioned earlier?
BLM protestors looted, rioted and burned down cities. How can you NOT compare when posters on that thread thought it was ok because of how much they have gone through in life.
One is not any better than the other and it ALL should be condoned.
Funny how I just heard late night show hosts condemned the acts yesterday but never did the burning of the cities. Very sad how we pick and choose what it means to be a bad human being. All violence should be condemned no matter what the origin is.

Seriously?? Where is source that shows that violence that took place all summer were Trump supporters??? No one cares what you "think."
It was a sarcastic reference to VB saying that Wednesday's violence was really ANTIFA or BLM or paid protestors.
ETA: It is ridiculous to think that the summer's events were Trump supports just like the ridiculous claim that VB made about Wednesday's events...guess the sarcasm didn't carry through in my post.
Yes. You have to really research because the media is dismissing it but some, not all, were Antifa & BLM protesters.
I would post the link but the text is huge. What is sad here is that how helpful everyone is on the other boards but here, it's nastiness. Instead of having a conversation, it's just always a fight.

I, in no way, believe that every person in Washington DC were there as a Trump supporter. Of course there were others and counter protesters.
But, the implication that VB was that the violence that ensued was Antifa and BLM and then paid protestors meaning that Trump supporters were being blamed when they were not at fault.
Supporters were all lumped in as one when it was untrue and many were there for a peaceful protest, just like they had gone to many times before.
Just like you don't want us to lump all people on the left, there is no reason to lump all on the right that were there to support Trump.
These people were extremists, disgusting human beings who many do time and time again in other places. One was actually from the left who supported Antifa and BLM. They will go through each and every person to see who they are and where they came from.

Am I the only one literally dumbfounded by the fact that VB continues to relentlessly defend treasonous Trump while minimizing the events and implications of Wednesday while also continuing to try and convince everyone that the cult of Trump wasn't in fact the ones who caused the problem???
