You would think so and I heard many of them were coming into FL. I am not 100% so don't roast me but I could see that since they say FL has a very high rate of positive cases now.

And for those that don’t want the vaccine, then the asylum seekers can have it. The US hoarded a lot of vaccines. The Western World should be lucky they even have a choice.

Hold up. So those coming into the country should be required to be tested, quarantined and vaccinated while you sit back and refuse the same vaccine for yourselves????
There is ZERO logic in this argument.
You either believe in the efficacy of the vaccine for ALL or you don't, you can't believe in the vaccine for some and not for others including yourself. Since so many on here think they are super healthy, immune to illness and can handle COVID if they get sick then you really should have no concerns regarding unvaccinated immigrants.
After all, the vaccine doesn't really do anything anyway and it's all media hype. At least that's what we keep being told by the same few over on the FHF board. Weird how some have a problem with anyone trying to "force" a vaccine on them but they are cool with forcing it on someone else.

I don’t really quite understand your question.
I think those that want to mandate it wouldn’t really *have* a reason to not vaccinate asylum seekers.

Most of the items in the OP are right wing talking points, particularly Covid at the border.
First of all, legal southern border crossings are basically not even happening other than unaccompanied minors who are tested and quarantined. The rumor that our borders are open is an outright lie.
I am not sure of the status of offering the vaccine to border crossers. Certainly I think it should be offered and strongly encouraged.
Second, migrants are not a significant cause of the increase in cases.

This talking point is very unsurprising because it marries right wing anti immigrant rhetoric with the need for a scapegoat to deflect attention from the anti mask, anti vax policies of Abbott, DeSantis, and the like which are mostly responsible for the spread of Covid in their states.
To answer the OP further, feel free to begin your own conversation about any of those issues if you find it too quiet.

First of all, legal southern border crossings are basically not even happening other than unaccompanied minors who are tested and quarantined. The rumor that our borders are open is an outright lie.
I am not sure of the status of offering the vaccine to border crossers. Certainly I think it should be offered and strongly encouraged.
Second, migrants are not a significant cause of the increase in cases.

This talking point is very unsurprising because it marries right wing anti immigrant rhetoric with the need for a scapegoat to deflect attention from the anti mask, anti vax policies of Abbott, DeSantis, and the like which are mostly responsible for the spread of Covid in their states.
To answer the OP further, feel free to begin your own conversation about any of those issues if you find it too quiet.

Additionally, some of the points that that OP mentioned have been discussed and then fell flat to further discussion as no one else posted.
Inflation for example...there is a thread with regards to that..go read it and respond.
