This does not look good for me ladies...Update 11/13 2:53pm*
I've been spotting red now for the past couple of hours now.
For those that don't know I had my first IVF on Oct. 23rd. Last Monday I had blood work that came up positive for pregnancy.
I've been spotting dark brown for 9 days and today (10th day) I've been spotting dark red.
I have an appt. tomorrow for blood work and sono. It just doesn't look like it stuck. I'll find out more tomorrow I'm sure.
I'm not sure how I'm feeling...I'm sad, angry...It's like it was too good to be true...
**Update this afternoon 11/13**:
My levels did not come back good at all. I had a level of 244 and my Dr. said is should have been in the 7,000.
She could not find the sac, she said it could be too early but it could also mean it implanted somewhere other than the uterus. That was one of her concerns.
I told her about the deep red bleed I had last night and she said that could of been the start of it going down hill for me. She said she wouldn't have been worried if it remained dark brown that could have been old blood from all the poking they did with needles and such.
I have more blood work on Wed. She was very honest she doesn't see it going higher and the levels today was just not a good sign.
I asked her about people bleeding throughout their whole pregnancy and she said that is very well possible but they have great strong levels. As long as they remain high and strong its fine.
My DH was in the room with me. It helped that he was there.
So...it looks like I'm going to go on and have my period and after that work on my frozen transfer.
I'm doing okay. I think I'm all cried out to be honest. I'm never going to quit I'm just going to keep on trying.
Did you ever get the beta results back? Were they low/high?
Did they test you for low progesterone/estrogen when you started spotting?
Im so sorry if this Pg fails...I cant imagine the pain, but we are here for you.
I went this morning for blood work. I'm scheduled to go back this afternoon for the results and sono.
I stopped spotting red right after I posted last night. Sorry for the TMI but it was like a glop and than that's it. I never got a flow after that. Now when I wipe I see dark brown very old looking blood again. My mom thinks it could have been one of the fertilized eggs that didn't implant. Who knows. Hopefully I will know a lot more this afternoon.
I still have hope....of course I was doing tons of google searches last night on can you bleed and still be pregnant. Some of the stories I read were crazy. Women having what they thought was their period every month and they were pg.
This appt. is not going to come fast enough. I will update when I get back.
