Things to do with toddler this summer...
Looking for some places to go this summer (local - preferable Suffolk but willing to travel a little) with 2yo.... I know there are some museums/farms/parks that people go to but not sure what ages they are for and what would be good for 2yo?
Appreciate any suggestions.

DS is 2. On our list of places to hit this summer-
Long Island Game Farm
White Post Farms
Venetion Shores Sprinkler Park
the beach
Adventureland
for rainy days, the Long Island Children's Museum, Le Play Cafe, & Once Upon A Treetop.

Things to do with toddler this summer...
more suggestions for Suffolk:
Long Island Aquarium
Holtsville Ecology Center
Shipwreck Cove spray park
Abby's Village
We signed up DS for a few classes at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center and he loved it. They are once a week for an hour and offer a different theme each week.

We have a 2 going on 3 year old.
We routinely do:
Zoos (Bronx, Queens)
Aquariums
Beaches (not only swimming, but digging is a favorite)
Pool (our community pool)
Parks (try out new playgrounds)
Adventureland & similar "small" parks
Farms
Festivals & Carnivals
Museums: Children's museums & adult museums
Central Park
With all that, and birthday parties, our summer is set.
I wasn't crazy about sesame place, but may be trying Dutch wonderland this year (I have a friend who lives close by).
