Things to do near Franklin Square for 18m old

DD2 has her newborn pics tomorrow in Franklin Square. My 18m old will be in a few pics but when she's not, my mom will need to keep her entertained lol. The weather seems like it's going to be crappy so the playground may be out. Any nearby places my mom can take her for a couple of hours? We live in Ronkonkoma so she can't just take her home.

Thanks!

If you will be there a couple of hours maybe you can have your mom go to Cup of Fun in Valley Stream for open play if it is raining.
If it isnt raining there is Rath Park.
Or how about the library?

it changed names and/or ownership. now it is called cup of fun like prior person mentioned. it is on the corner of rockaway avenue and merrick road.

Thanks everyone! If it's not nice enough for the park, I'll tell my mom about the cup of fun place.

If it clears up, there is a nice playground on Nassau Blvd just north of Hempstead Tpke in Garden City South.

If its yucky, I'd recommend lunch at Carmella's (Italian/pizza), ice cream at Frosty's, then a stop at Ramona Lee bakery for desserts to bring home. All on Hemp Tpke and within about a mile of each other
