Things to do in Los Angeles area?
DH & I are headed out to Los Angeles for a wedding in April, and we'll have a few extra days out there to be touristy.
All we've come up with so far is to go see a Dodgers game.
Any suggestions?

Getty Center: http://www.getty.edu/ Just plain gorgeous. The Huntington Garens don't have the viewsbut it'agreat too.
The beach (too cold to swim though) but Venice is always fun, great to people watch.
Of course I have to say Disneyland too

I forgot about Universal Studios!
And I didn't even think of going to see a show taped even though my friend works for someone with a late night show. 
Any other thoughts?

I adore the Getty Center. It's gorgeous! There's the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Grumman's Chinese Theater, of course. Disneyland in Anaheim!
There's a Rocky and Bullwinkle store that I went to b/c my mom is a huge fan.
We also bought one of those maps of stars' homes and drove around! Totally cheesy touristy stuff, but fun!

Warner Brothers Back Lot tour! It's fun to see that the I dream of Jeannie house is down the block from the Partridge Family and the Griswold Family (Natiional Lampoon), and around the corner from the Waltons.

We had a day in LA and we went everwhere- we rented a car - we went to Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, saw the Playboy Mansion (I love Kendra, even though she's not there anymore!), Santa Monica, Venice Beach - we just drove around and took in the sights it was a fun time.
