Things just keep getting better (UPDATE)
I was pulled into my managers office and was told that effective Tuesday, my position would be turned into a part-time position, which in turn means my benefits will be recinded effective 1/31/12. What a way to start the new year. 
When will it stop, when can I just live a life without having to be stressed out about everything. Just had to vent 
UPDATE: I called my financial coordinator regarding this issue, in case there is a lapse. BUT to my surprise, I found out that the 2 IVF cycles that are covered have been exhausted. The insurance company considers a FET an IVF cycle. So now we have to pay $6k up front before we even start the transfer process. So having insurance doesn't even really matter.
I thought I'd share more of the wonderful things that keep happening to me.

That is what my fear is. I miscarried on the 17th, and we are just waiting for my next bleed, which wouldn't you know it, should be anywhere between 4-6 weeks, end of January.

Im so sorry...is there anyway they can give u enuf hours where your insurance would still be in effect. Same thing happened with my job and I told them I need at least 25 hours a week so I could keep my health insurance

Jess – I asked but according to him it is not possible. He is just a really big A-hole anyway. They are giving me 29 hrs, and in order to qualify for benefits I need to have 30.
Cindy- Yes, they told me that is an option after 1/31. We are going to go with that for however long we can.

That s*cks that he is giving you just under what you need to get benefits!!! I think COBRA is for 18 months.... So sorry you are going thru this

Are they serious, they won't give you one hour to qualify for benefits? That is BS, I'm so ****** for you! I'm sorry you have to deal with this ugh

I offered that, but he was unwilling to work with me. To top it off, my hours are from 11-5, and 12-5 on Fridays. I asked if I could switch and come in and do my hours early, he said No. I am more insulted really. I have been here for 3 years and they do this to me. BUT, the lazy, incompetent admin assistant gets away with everything. I obviously surf the web, primarily on here, but EVERYONE does.
I guess I could start looking at it different, at least now I will have time to schedule appts/interviews during the morning hours.

You know what's interesting about what you wrote? Since my loss, I have not been sure if I wanted to jump into another transfer right away. But once I was told about not having benefits, I got extremely upset, because it meant that we would not be able to do the transfer right away. So I guess, this whole thing made me realize that I do want to go right into a transfer right away.

There ya go! 
Honestly in a process where there is just no control over the outcome- and then once you do get pregnant there's STILL no control... it always helped me to feel like I was at least in control of decisions like when to do the cycles, etc..
I must sound like such a control freak

Ugh just read your update.. I am so sorry.. I swear, one day my goal is to get insanely rich (don't ask me how .. maybe I'll start breeding cats and selling them to celebrities! ) .. and then starting a charity that gives money to people for fertility treatments.. surrogacy.. adoption .. etc..
Or maybe I'll become some important political figure and make a new law that requires insurance to cover unlimited IVFs, etc..
On a serious note, this totally stinks and I'm so sorry you are dealing with this now!!

but does he know your past with IF...i mean maybe a little back story and some giult could make him change his mind
like if he has kids..you could sau i need this so i can have a family..how would you feel if you could not have your family..kwim?
