they threw dh and i surprise showers....even if its our seocnd! how sweet!
on thursday, dh got a call at work that one of his friends there was crying in a training room and needed his help...so he is running (yes, running!) down the hall and then he gets there and they all yell surprise and its a shower.....they were so generous and even bought stuff for our "soon to be big sister" dd! dh was so touched since he has only been there since last august and was officially his first shower ever since he didn't have one when we had dd! (he was so excited, it was so cute!)
then on firday morning, we have our monthly breakfasts at school and they threw me a surprise breakfast shower....whcih was so generous and sweet of everyone! Later, my class moms organized another surprise shower by having me pulled into this fake mtg so they couuld set up and then when I came back, my class was hiding and jumped out yelling "surprise" - and again we got so much stuff! My class shower was the cutest b/c they had the kids all decorate a onsie for the baby and then hung them aroudn the room when they were finished....its so funny to see what third graders do with this!  (and yes, i will live up to the promise that our new dd will wear each and every one!)
we were so touched to know that we are surrounded by such giving and wonderufl people and can't wait for them to meet our dd.....although between me and her, i need those next 9 days (or more if she wisihes...) to finish up all the school stuff for the end of the year!
