thermometer question...

I got this one...

And even though I was already on CD6 i started charting anyways when I got it...

So far my temps have been all over the place.

And I thought I was crazy but I double checked that the basal thermometers are supposed to give temps to the hundredth place. This thermometer only gives to the tenth ..

I have this one.

Does this one suck? Do I really need it to give me to the hundredth?

I might return this one.

ETA: This morning I took my temp and took it again immediately after... and the first time I took it I was 98.2 and the next time 98.3. Is that okay that it changes? I mean it seems like when you're supposed to be watching for a 'spike' and a 'spike' is only .6 degrees --- every little bit makes a difference?

Re: thermometer question...

imo every little teeny bit makes a difference. my temp fluctuates between ~97.25 and 98.50 throughout the month.
i also thought all BT's went to the hundreth Chat Icon

are u taking ur temp before you physically get out of bed? that also makes a difference.

Re: thermometer question...

I have the thermometer right under my pillow... I wake up and put the thing in my mouth and don't move.

I took it out this morning... turned it off/on and put it right back in my mouth... no additional moving and it still changed. Chat Icon
