Theme Cakes
I want to get a cake for my DH's retirement party. Do most bakery's make a theme like cake?
I want to have a cake made in the shape of a detective's shield w/his badge # on it.
I live in Kings Park so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know! Thanks.

Don't know if Dortoni's in Huntington is too far for you, but they make great cakes and do that sort of thing.

You can also try Alpine Pastry Shoppe on 111 in Smithtown (in the Uncle Guissuppe's shopping center).

They did DD's christening cake in the shape of a christening gown, so I would think that they could do a shield also.
