the twists and turns of the emotional rollercoaster... bad update
sooo
last night my sono (6 weeks +) shows not adequate growth, no fetal pole, no heartbeat.
Before doing a d & c I insist that we wait a few days just to see if something shows up a little later. Is it just me or can some people not see anything un til 7 or 8 weeks? Doc says I can remain on meds even though he isnt very optimistic.
So now I guess this will (hopefully) lead the docs to try and figure out why I cannot carry a pregnancy.... of course all i hear is TICK TOCK.........

I'm sorry There is a chance that something could still be seen. What are your beta numbers. watch out for ectopic as it can snowball pretty quick. One week I thought I was having a m/c and the next I was having emergency surgery and my tube removed...If you want info on recurrent m/c please FM me. GL I hope everything works out...

 Maybe it was late implantation or just a slow grower. I don't blame you for waitng a little before the D&C. I will keep you and you baby in my prayers and I hope you see a strong little heartbeat next scan.

I can't begin to tell you how bad I feel for you going through this. The stress must be overbearing.
I hope that it's a late implanter and you get good news soon.

i WOULDN'T JUMP SO FAST TO TO A D&C..WAIT ANOTHER WEEK AND THEN MAKE A DECISION..GOOD LUCK..i WILL PRAY FOR YOU..MY FRIEND DIDN'T HEAR A HEART BEAT..AND DIDN'T SEE ONE UNTIL 7 WEEKS

Jeanna, I hope and pray that things turn around for you, and that you are worrying over nothing.
Have you ever been tested for APS (Anti-Phosphil Lipid Syndrome--I am not sure if this is how you spell it---I have done posts on it---I will try to find it). It is a blood test that they do, but some dr's dont do it because it is expensive, and only certain labs do it. I would DEMAND that they do it for you.
Please know that if you ever need anything, even someone to talk to at work, that you can always call and talk to me!
