The stress!!
Well, I have two more days of clomid and an appointment for a sono and blood work on Saturday to see how I'm progressing. I am praying I have decent size follicle(s) and that there are no cysts.
What are the chances of cysts developing while on clomid? This is my very first cycle.
If all goes well, I will have a trigger (I am so scared to do this - Has anyone done this before?) and go in for my IUI probably sometime next week (hopefully!). I don't know how I will keep sane for the next few weeks!

Re: The stress!!
I didn't get cysts with clomid and my lining always looked good. The trigger wasn't a big deal for me either....I went in and they gave me the shot...no problems, pain or swelling with it. Good luck!

Re: The stress!!
I did 2 rounds of Clomid. First round I had 1 follicle and second round I had 3. I did not get any cysts on Clomid but now have 2 large cysts from Follistim (injectable medication).

Re: The stress!!
How are you feeling so far on the Clomid? I'm on hold for a few months while I get my thyroid under control.

I never had any cysts develop. Also, I am the biggest cry baby about needles, and the trigger was a piece of cake. I went to the nurse, she gave it to me, was over in seconds.

So far, no problems! I am on day four of five days, and the only thing I noticed today was a bit of bloating. Other than that, I'm okay! I just hope it does the trick! I'll find out soon enough....

The nurse made it seem like I'd have to give it to myself....Is that normal?

My practice they do it for you. The nurse called in the script and I just had to bring it with me. However, with that said now that I'm on an IVF cycle, I'm expected to give it to myself.

Re: The stress!!
I didn't get any cysts while on clomid. And as for the trigger - it is so easy... don't worry about it! And actually, my first time doing a trigger I brought it with me to the RE's office and a nurse administered it....

Re: The stress!!
I did 3 cycles on clomid and didn't get cysts or a thin lining. I think that occurs the longer you stay on it, but I have known people to stay on it for 7 cycles and never get cysts.

Re: The stress!!
I ddin't use Clomid but I did give myself the trigger of Ovidrel before my IUI. It stung for a second but was over. I was surprised at how easy it was to inject myself.
