Re: The Joy of Cooking
I got it at my bridal shower, but haven't fully looked through it. Any recommendations?

Re: The Joy of Cooking
Well I have not cooked anything yet
But I am thinking of trying the Cream of Broccolli Soup or Creamy Tomato and make some grilled cheeses tomorrow...
It also gives you Menu ideas for holidays and dinner parties which is very cool.

Re: The Joy of Cooking
I have it and it's my go to book for anything I can't find in my other cookbooks. The meatballs and meatloaf is delicious. I made the red velvet cake was was too die for. I also used the basic muffin recipe to make various muffins with whatever I may have on hand. Going to make Penne a la Vodka this week.
