Re: The Book about YOU

Hmmmm i often wonder if my life is already been written...
Am i following the path that has been chosen for me?
Was this my destiny?

Or

I made the decisions...it is all my doing?

I'm not sure either, there are definitely things that are meant to be but at the same time we can make choices and somehow take part in the story of our lives and change the course.
does that make any sense?

Re: The Book about YOU

I'd say I have ALOT of juicy chapters, but its still a work in progress.

eta: thats so funny you ask, i started a book a long time ago about me and DH since we had such a controversial relationship and i had such a masachistic, tumoltious relationship with my paretns due to it.
and so on and so on....

Re: The Book about YOU

hmmmm... well part of me wants to say Still being written... until the day i die (sorry if i just gave away the books ending Chat Icon Chat Icon )

BUT... i kind of believe in BOTH fate and free will. i believe that we have the ability to make choices that determine which direction we move in, but that those are still within limitations. I think there are certain inalienable events or experiences in ones life, But that our decisions lay the path to those. So in a way, i assume that my life isn't jsut based solely on God's plan (or whichever greater 'being' may exist) Or on my choices, but more-so, a combination of the two.

ehh im rambling, and i dont know if what im trying to say is making sense. like a basic example i could think of is this: Say fate says i'm going to die at 40. i feel like that is inescapable BUT that my choices/actions are what will decide HOW i die (cancer, car accident, etc...) Chat Icon
