I always make a grey goose pear martini for before we head out to the restaurant.

It has to be Grey goose pear though- Grey goose pear tastes fresh and crisp like a real pear- not like the sugary, sweet, artifical pear flavor of Absolut pear (I know my pear vodkas, ok? Chat Icon)

It also has Limoncello, ruby red grapefruit juice, and simple syrup.

It is amazing.

Last year I was calling liquor stores all over the county because Grey Goose pear is hard to come by.
I finally found it though

ETA_ when i get to the restaurant I always order a Cosmo.
I never really drink Cosmo's - only on Thanksgiving.

I have got to try this pear GG !

I have been obsessed with Figenza Vodka. It's a fig vodka that tastes like pear nectar. You should try it if you haven't already

Martini w figenza, muddled lemon and a little orange bitters = omg I'm drunk in 2 drinks because I drank them like water

That sounds amazing too.

And yes, the Grey Goose pear is hard to find, but as soon as you open it and take a sniff, it smells like fresh cut pears. Crazy

Re: Thanksgiving spirits/cocktails

A spiked apple cider sounds like a good idea, with a caramel garnish.
The kids can have theirs too, without the spike.

Or maybe a nice fruity red sangria.

Love my GG Pear! Thankfully, I dont have a hard time finding it. Restaurants and Bars are hard to find it in. So you add Limoncello AND Grapefruit juice to it? Hmmmm.........sounds extra tasty.

All I add is Cranberry Juice and a Lime...they go down like water.Chat Icon

You shake it up with a shot of limoncello and a shot or 2 of ruby red grapefruit juice. You can add a dash of simple syrup but that can make it a bit too sweet so I use that sparingly or not at all

This sound so amazing! How much of the grey goose? A shot? I'm terrible at mixing cocktails!
