The nurse just called. My beta on Monday was 54. Today it is 86. It did not double and the fact that the nurse was still optimistic really ****** me off. "Oh, you're in the 60% catagory....that's good! I wouldn't give up yet!". So I have to go back on Friday. I am just sick.
Betas are not expected to double every 48 hours - in fact, mine NEVER did, they usually rose 60-70% every 48 hours. Take a look at this site (the american pregnancy association) on HcG levels - it's very informative:

my drs made me wait 3 days btwn betas and were wanted them doubled in 2-3 days... I know u are disappointed but 60% increase in 2 days is adequate... Lots of prayers ur way
