There can definitely be a delay. Some women don't get a bfp till almost a week after AF is due. HCG levels need to be very high in order for them to come out positive. I would retest again in the morning, or maybe call your doc to get a blood test. Good luck.

It took me 1 year and Clomid after I came off the pill with my daughter. I was on the pill for 9 years though. When you go to the Dr. he is gonna use the same test you did. A urine stick test. I know its hard because I have very irregular periods, and sometimes its torturous.
