Thank you to all who recommended Bill Elliott!!!
He installed our banister - it's GORGEOUS!
We had separate guys come and stain it and they even said - "whoever installed your banister did a great job!"
I'll post pics over the weekend or on Monday!

He's in Nassau. If you do a search for me or MrsFlatbread or Bill Elliott's name, his number will come up. I believe his name has been in some thread titles.
Bill rocks! He did my bannister along with some of the other girls on here.

Can anyone tell me what other work he does besides banisters? I have several projects that I might need done (gates, spindles on a staircase, banister etc).

bumped for picture!! He really did an awesome job... I wish I had more pictures but hubby only sent me the one I took - he took like 4 others - at the bottom and whatnot. I'll post them later...
Bill beat everyone's price and is super nice to boot!

He probably can do the spindles on the staircase and the banister. I don't know what you mean by gates, but you could always call and ask him.

mine was $1400 including the larger spindles, newel (sp?) posts, and staining. worth every penny!!
golden oak wanted almost $3000...and that didn't include the staining!
