I was like "she just had a HUMAN BEING inside her 24 hrs ago"..WTF!!

omg thank goodness it wasnt only me. i see photos from in the hospital and cringe at myself. i had my full pregnancy belly. i didnt realize it was normal LOL. but she looks amazing considering how quick she was there and everything else. of course she looks better than i did! but yes, nice for her to not run into a car and hide and to show off her beautiful baby

I know! I was shocked that I still looked 6 months pg. You don't see celebrities look like WE look leaving the hospital. She looks normal. I love it!

I totally agree and was talking about this with my best friend earlier! I think she looks fantastic and am happy she didn't try and hide the post pregnancy bump. Makes the rest of us feel normal and not like there's something wrong with us for not walking out of the hospital with a 6 pack.

It's great that she chose this dress. She could have easily worn something that would hide/minimize the bump but she didn't.

I think she looks awesome! Her face looks better a little fuller. And on the news yesterday they were already talking about her losing the baby weight and showed pics of how skinny she used to be. Totally ridiculous. Then they were already questioning if she will have post partum like Princess Dianna did.

Question though- is that the norm in the UK to go home the next day after giving birth?
I know our insurance stinks in the US and they toss you out of the hospital as soon as humanly possibly- even after a surgery, etc.- yet 2 nights is the norm here for a vaginal birth.
Just wondering why she was rushed out so soon...

love that she is showing that her body looks like most women the day after giving birth! She still looks gorgeous and I commend her for stepping out and not hiding like most of Hollywood does until they are fit and perfect.

I don't think for the Duchess. She had a private wing i Thought. They were just saying that its pretty normal for British women to leave within the first day or two PP. they were talking about how they are a "modern" royal family so they've done a lot of the normal things others do in the UK

My mom bounced back really fast and it still took her about four or so days for the majority of her bump to go down... and that was super quick, so if she had to come out of the hospital LITERALLY 24 hours later, she would have looked like this too - I mean, I would think anyone would! I'm amazed she could even get out of bed

I think she's just a real person, people think she's a celebrity like KK, but she's not. She is a normal human being. And who cares when she goes home - I highly doubt it's like the hospital kicked her out. If she felt fine and up to it, why not go home?

Seriously! I am really in awe of Kate. She is poised, beautiful, sweet, she seems to be strong emotionally even when the media is nasty. On my second day, I could barely walk, I was so sore & even if I could, I wouldn't have wanted too since blood was still pouring out of me non-stop.
