Thank you gift for a Physician's Assistant
My husband was in a hospital for about 3 weeks for surgery and recovery
There was a Physician's Assistant that was very helpful. She answered all our questions and texts.
We were thinking of getting her a 'Thank you' gift.
Is this appropriate?
If so, does anyone have any suggestions?

as a PA anything is nice even a thank you note. Sometimes we do go above our role and it is such a nice feeling to know it was appreciated. A bottle of wine (after stressful days), gc to local coffee shop or anything like that. I personally carry my business card in my white coat and am barely at my desk so I wouldn't use the business card holder...it's a great idea if you know she sits at the same desk all the time but in hospitals we usually just float around.

I don't find it inappropriate at all, it's nice

Letter to administration (with a note to put it in her file)
Also, high rating on the hospital patient satisfaction survey which you will get in the mail within the next few weeks. There will be a free text part where you can write her name and comments also.
