Testing Sticks

Does anyone use the ovulation predictor sticks, I believe it is a kit. I was just wondering, my sister in law suggested it and I was not sure if it was a good idea. Alot of people said not to use them though ..so I am bit confused.

Re: Testing Sticks

I've been using them since day 1.

Thought my cycles were irregular when I started...they are actually much more regular than I thought.

They are pricey...but I get the 20 pack of First Response that I can only find in CVS (not sure why). They are NOT digital. If you are meticulous about closing the pack & keep it in a dry place: you can use it for a few months (I got good at predicting when I should ovulate & started testing at exactly 2 weeks after the 1st day).

It's not hard. Just pee on stick & compare lines. You'll get used yo it after you see that when you ovulate: there is a BIG difference in line color.

It's comforting that my hormone surges are working & knowing when I ovulate.

I'm not preg. yet though...
