Testing on my B-Day
Dec 1st will be mine and DH's bday...yes we have the same bday It will also be 11dpo... Should I test? I'm scared its a BFN and then I will be upset, but it could also be the best b-day gift ever! What do you ladies think?

Re: Testing on my B-Day
i would test the day after just so i'm not disappointed. enjoy the day, do something fun and try not to think about it. the next morning test- if it's a BFP it's like extending your birthday joy another day!

Testing on my B-Day
i think 11DPO is a little early and you might get a false negative. I would wait a couple of days and just not think about it

Re: Testing on my B-Day
As someone who has tested on holidays ... I say hold out! It's just one more day and the bfp would be just as exciting the day after!

Re: Testing on my B-Day
I would wait. It would just be too depressing to see a negative, and that early it could be a false negative. I'd rather just enjoy my birthday and get an extra surprise the next day or day after.

Re: Testing on my B-Day
I agree you should wait to avoid disappointment, but if you really want to know on your birthday perhaps wait until before bed to test (if you can hold your urine for 4-5 hours in the evening). This way you can still enjoy your day. You will also have an additional 12-14 implanatation hours so you'll be closer to 12dpo. Good luck!

Re: Testing on my B-Day
I would only test if you're using a first response test.....otherwise that early you will probably get disappointed. FWIW my last BFP was at 12dpo (but everyone is different!)

Re: Testing on my B-Day
I got my faint positive at 11 dpo....I didn't want to keep my hopes up and waited until 14 dpo and confirmed with digital

Re: Testing on my B-Day
Well of course I didn't listen and I tested, not only did I test but I used an expired test because that was all I had. Needless to say a BFN...what are the chances it's wrong...only symptoms I have are my boobs are sore, which isn't helping bc that usually happens before my AF. I bought new tests but now I want to wait a little longer before I test again. What do you ladies think.
