Should you wait till you skip to take a pregnancy test? Are they really that accurate up to 5 days before?

The closer that you get to the day that af is due the more accurate the test is, so it really is best to hold out for as long as possible...I believe that most tests are 99% accurate the day that af is due!

After trying for many months now, I've found that waiting until the day that she's due is best because 1) it saves me $ on what would be wasted negative tests and 2) it helps to lessen the disappointment of seeing a negative on a stick every month. If you absolutely cannot wait though (and we've ALL been there at some point), I would wait until at least 13 dpo since that seems to be the magic # around here where + start showing up.
