Ten Weeks Pg, Pink Spotting
Hi girls,
I hope this isn't TMI but here goes... About a half hour ago I was straining to use the bathroom (I'm on Zofran and very constipated). When I wiped, there was a little bit of mucousy pink discharge. I was so upset so I called my OB and they said it is most likely nothing but I could have a sono to ease my mind. Well the sonographers aren't in bc of the damn snow so I have to wait until tomorrow morning. I'm very nervous and upset. It isn't red or flowing and when I peed about ten minutes ago, there was nothing this time. I'm just not sure how to not be upset or worry.
ETA: I've been too sick to fool around with DH but two nights ago I was having a good night so we had sex. Didn't spot afterward though and nothing yesterday. So two days later is probably unrelated to sex, right?

I would def go in and get checked tomorrow - it is probably (hopefully) nothing
At around 11 weeks I woke up covered in bright red blood - turns out everything is fine....I'm 26 weeks pregnant

I have a sono appt at 9:45 am tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know you had a bleed and everything turned out okay. Luckily mine was just a bit of pink but still scared.
When I was pg with DS, I spotted at 6-7 weeks but it was brown. Got to see him on sono and all was great, they said it could have been old implantation blood. But this is different bc it's pink and I'm further along in my pg. DH is home from work today so I told him I won't be picking up 17 month old DS at all today.

I had red mucous spotting after a night of stomach aches. Went in to see dr and everything was fine. Since then I've had very very minor brown spotting.
Glad you'll see dr tomorrow. Good luck.

Thanks so much for this post. How long ago did this happen? So far it has been very little. It was pink around 8:45 this morning and only on the TP, then I peed several times after that and nothing. Then around 1:00 a little brown discharge, but again only on the TP. Not enough to even be on my underwear. But I can't help but worry until I see the baby and make sure all is okay. Having to wait until tomorrow is so hard.

This was Tuesday morning. Since then it's been intermittent light light brown spotting... I'm 9 weeks today.

I wouldnt worry about it unless you have bright red copious amounts of blood. Spotting in pregnancy can be common.

The same exact thing that you're describing happened to me when I was also 10 weeks. I woke up to use the bathroom one night and had pink spotting and then brown spotting later in the day. I freaked out but the doctor did a sonogram and everything was fine. He said it was probably my placenta settling. I'll be 20 wks on Saturday. Try to get some rest and drink lots of water.

Thank you SO MUCH for checking in. Everything on the sono looks PERFECT. Baby measured 10+2, strong regular HB, tech said it could not look more perfect. Placenta is in tact, no bleeding anywhere. Saw the dr and he said most likely it was from doing the dirty w hubby as couple nights earlier lol and that it can take a couple days to come out. But he said it is def from my cervix and that everything looks great. I could not be more relieved!!!!!! No hanky panky til 13 weeks (sad telling this to DH on valentines day lol) but I almost never feel up to it anyway and that is the least of my worries. Just sooo happy baby is well. Thanks again, girls!!
