Temping Thermometer?
So I think I am going to try temping for a few months to see when I really ovulate, to see how long my LP is... in preparation for trying again. I am very nervous that I miscarried, so I want to know everything possible about my body before we take the leap again. Question is... is there one brand of thermometer that is better/faster/more accurate than another? Where can I buy it? TIA!

Re: Temping Thermometer?
I used the CVS basal thermometer.
It was terribly slow - but did its job!

Re: Temping Thermometer?
I bought mine on line. Same with Haley, it is slow, but it works well.

Re: Temping Thermometer?
I think I bought mine at Rite-Aid. A little slow at times (sometimes I fall back asleep while waiting for the beep that the temperature registered) but it works. If you can, I suggest getting one with a backlight on the display. After I take my temp, i usually open my cell phone to see the temp.

Re: Temping Thermometer?
This is such a dumb question and I am so embaressed to even ask but
Where does the thermometer actually go your mouth or your vajayjay?
Can you use the same thermometer for a few months or do you need to change them every so often?
Again, i apologize for my stupidty

You can use it in either one (vaginally or orally), but I use mine in my mouth. I have been temping for a year now and have not needed to replace it yet.

Re: Temping Thermometer?
Mine is from Target-it isn't the fastest, but it works just fine. It also holds your last few temps which is nice. And yes, you can temp either vaginally or orally-i temp orally.

Re: Temping Thermometer?
I got mine at Rite Aid too, I have the same problem it's slow and sometimes I almost fall asleep again with it in my mouth, but it works. I have to turn the light on to record the temp.
