Temping question
This will be my 2nd month temping and I'm starting to think the basal thermometer I'm using is crap. I bought the walgreens brand basal thermometer and I really think it's just giving me general temps. The readings on low temp days are always either 97.45 (never 97.46 or 97.44 or any variation) or 97.18. Is this right? Is it possible that I'm ALWAYS one of these two temps? Has anyone else experienced this? I thought that my temps should vary daily.. at least slightly.
Also, does anyone have a thermometer brand they could recommend that they're happy with? Thanks!

that's odd that it's only giving you those 2 same temps.
i got mine from rite aid.
and i have a backup one incase the battery goes from cvs.

That does seem odd. I've been using the CVS brand and my temps vary daily (down to the hundreth degree).

Yeah I'm not understanding it either. The last few days it's been back and forth between exactly those two temps. Not to mention I had a really strange AF this past month that I just want to be on point with the temping. Sounds like the CVS brand thermometer works well for you both so I'll just pick one up on my way home tonight and see how that works. Thanks ladies

i haven't use the cvs one yet, it's still in the box! it's my back up incase the battery in my rite aid one dies.
i'm using the one from rite aid.
IMO, i think they're all the same ones, just packaged for whatever store is selling it. you might just have picked a random dud at walgreens.

That is odd. My temps vary too. I use a thermometer from Target.
