temping ignorance
Showing my ignorance here but have to confess the reason I was asking about the temping was because I actually thought I had to stick the thermometer up my vagaygay every morning. Didn't realize iit involves just taking your your temp like in the normal way. And no I haven't done it yet I have to go buy a thermometer which I plan to do if I don't get preg this cycle.

You actually can temp either way. Vaginal is much more accurate.

Exactly, but I just did it under the tongue bc honestly, that would just be weird every morning.

I haven't temped but I hear that Vaginal is actually more accurate especially if you sleep with your mouth open.

when i started temping i did it orally but my temps were too erratic so i decided to temp vaginally and it made a world of difference. It wasnt weird for me...just became a routine. But to each his own :)

i'm dumbfounded by this i ad no idea, if its a more acurate reading i will def do it that way

You can use the same thermometer but just remember once you start temping vaginally you should not go back to temping with the same thermometer orally  Its pretty simple to temp vaginally. Remember, you do not need to insert the entire thermometer up your vagina  Just insert the tip of it...only about an inch up (and even that may be too much). Just remember to insert the thermometer the same deepest in each day in order to get an accurate reading.
