Temping?

How do you go about temping?

If It does not work out this month, I am going to temp next month to figure out if I am even ovulating!
Do I need a special thermometer? Do I need to join fertility friend or any websites?
How do you do it?

I havent started yet- I plan on starting in 2 weeks....

I just bought a digital basal body thermometer... apparently, you are supposed to take your temp while you are STILL IN BED right after waking up at the same time everyday. The one I bought beeps and will annoy the hell out of my DH... but I told him its something I need to do lol

I also plan on joining fertility friend so that I can start charting my temps.

you need a basal body thermometer, you can get one in cvs, rite aid, etc

you need to take your temp at the same time each morning before you get out of bed with atleast 3 consecutive hours of sleep.

the package comes w/ charts you can fill in, but it's easier to keep track on websites like fertility friend.

the book taking charge of your fertility has a lot of detailed info of how to make your own charts and track it yourself if you want to go that way.
