Temping ??
Okay - so i got my basal therm...and since then, i haven't yet had one night where i slept straight through to the alarm.
i woke up earlier again today, but, again, fell back to sleep, on and off.
my temp yesterday morning was: 97.3 my temp today was the same: 97.3 (both temps were taken at 8:55)
should i forget temping or keep going and whatever sleep i get, i get?
Please, keep in mind - i wear glasses, so there is no way for me to look up and see what time it is when i do wake up.
Also - when i wake up - i don't get up, i toss, turn, roll over and fall back to sleep.

Re: Temping ??
I tend to anticipate the alarm a lot and sit up to look at the clock (it's on DH's nightstand) and go back to sleep if it's too early. I don't really see that as disturbing my sleep too much and still take my temp at my normal wake up time even if I 'wake up' to see what time it is earlier.

Re: Temping ??
jess, to be as accurate as possible, it should be at the same time everyday, give or take 10 minutes
i would take it, go back to sleep and look at it when i woke up

i have been taking it at the same time every day - 8:55 AM - my concern is that the book says you need 3 hours of constant sleep - and i'm not sure i'm getting that before i temp... since i wake up and fall back to sleep...

Re: Temping ??
as long as you are not getting up and walking around, do not worry about. waking up a little and falling back to sleep will not make too much of a difference. Just keep taking your temp at 8:55 am.

Just keep taking your temp at 8:55 am. exactly as long as you are lying down and in bed; at rest if you were getting up to use the bathroom or get a drink, it would be different

i was so worried - because unless i take a pill - i'm a very restless sleeper!
i guess it's a good thing that i'm at the same temp the last 2 days?

Re: Temping ??
yes, it can be viewed as "good" but its all relative to where you are in your cycle
what CD are you on? you wouldnt want to be up and down and all over the place, but you dont want to be the same for 30 day straight either
KWIM??
