So this is me at only 9 weeks... Do you think its 1 or 2?? Im dying to know, I find out for sure Wed...Will keep you girls posted!!

I'm going to say 1 because my belly was just as big if not bigger at 9 weeks, and I knew from 7 weeks it was only one.

They saw 2 sacs at my 7 week sono but couldnt confirm if its twins or not..I go back again this Wed to confirm if the 2nd sac is growing

I thought with twins it's supposed to skip a generation? Like your kids might have a chance of having twins, but not you. That's what I was told at least, I could be wrong. DH's grandfather was a twin, so they may have been trying to scare me haha.

No your right, so since my mom is a twin it skiped my generation(me & my sisters) and now we have the chance of having them. That will be the next generation.

i dont think you would be able to tell at all by your belly at 9w. at this point its more bloat than baby. i also cant believe at 9w you havent had a sono yet!!  i guess theres some benefits of infertility afterall!!

Fraternal twins aren't hereditary at all. Only identical ones.
But that certainly doesn't mean you aren't having twins, especially if they saw two sacs! Hoping for a little extra  for you!!! You look adorable, btw.

You have it backwards. Fraternal twins are hereditary. Identical twins happen spontaneously.
At 9 weeks, your bump is due to bloat. It's really impossible to know without a sono. Good luck!

My friend is a fraternal twin, and so is her mom, and so is her grandma. LOL
They were the exception to the rule I guess.

Sometimes they do.... sometimes they dont.... In my family they don't skip. I am a twin.... If her mom is a twin then it did skip a generation bc her mom didnt have twins so its very likely its 2! That's my guess.

You really can't go based on the appearance of your belly. With all my bloat, you could say I looked like I was having triplets to start! You really just have to wait for the sono. Also, this early the baby (or babies) are SO tiny! Even if it's twins, they are the size of blueberries right now. Regardless of how many are in there, it's all bloat! Good luck!
