ok... uncreative class mom here..
the teacher likes to play a game at the party. i already have a craft and food and i can't think of a game!!!!! the party is tomorrow and i'm freaking out!! i'm begging you all to help me! lol .. it's a kindergarten class! thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

We do a Valentine Hot Potato game in my Pre-K, called Pass the Valentine (using a heart)...when the music stops, the child who has the heart sits in the middle or you can have whomever ends up w/ the heart gets a treat.
This may be hard but it helps w/ their fine motor. Take 2 bowls of the little conversation hearts (or could use bigger heart candies) & get 2 pairs of chopsticks (or tongs) & have a relay...have e/ person pick up a heart in a bowl & walk it back to the rest of the line & pass the chopsticks to the next person. First team to be sitting after everyone had a turn wins.
Freeze Dance (my Pre-K loves this)

In my class we used to play...
Freeze dance
Hot potato but with a heart ( the person holding the heart wasnt out, instead they got a treat)
If its for Valentines day...I used to play pin the heart one cupid..doesnt have to be stuck in a particular place, just on cupid.
I used to also play the beanbag game with them. I would write the number 1-5 on huge hearts. I would let each one get a chance to throw their beanbags on top of the heart (tape them to the floor) and whichever number they land on, thats the number of treats they get (hershey kisses, conversation hearts, etc)

You can play "Hide the Heart". I used to do this with an eraser when I was a teacher. But you can substitute the eraser for a large foam heart.
Pick a "hider". All the children put their heads down (no peeking). Shut off the lights. The hider hides the heart somewhere in the classroom.
Lights come back on, everyone lifts their head. Hider gives a clue where the heart is hidden. "Next to something blue". Children take guesses, may ask more questions.
Correct guesser then gets to hide the heart next.
Fun, quiet game. Kids LOVE it.
