we dont have it in, we came a little less out of pocket for closing, since our taxes are not much anyways we didn't see a reason..We fianced through chase and they didn't require it.
did you pay 20% out of pocket?

I dont know if it was required or they just did it that way. I think it's better (somewhat). Sure my payment is higher which stinks but then I don't have to worry about put the extra $ aside.
Then again if I didn't have the taxes in with the mortgage payments I'd be putting a little in my savings account each month and it would gain interest, so at the end of the year I'd have extra $ so maybe that is the better way to go, but you have to remember to put the money aside every month!
