Re: Target Prenatals

i don't believe so. I take CVS prenatals and they don't have the DHA but the doc said as long as they have folic acid which is important. I think DHA is an added plus though.

Re: Target Prenatals

It wasnt until recently that I switched to the gummy vitamins and it just so happens that they have DHA.(I wasnt purposely looking for it though) prior to that I was taking a ton of different prenatals none of which had DHA. I dont know if it matters or not but I guess I didnt care that much lol

i use them and the target dha supplement pills. i brought both into my doc and she said they are both wonderful to use and better than prescription prenatals. the dha supplement is not required but wont hurt if you take it

Re: Target Prenatals

you will need the DHA when you get PG so you might as well get used to taking them now. Expecta is the DHA I was taking OTC....I have since changed to a RX one but just cause my Dr gives me tons of samples so I barely have to buy any.

Re: Target Prenatals

I take 2 vitamins - one is prenatal and one is DHA. There has been a lot of research done on how DHA is derived and I couldn't find one I was happy with in combo with a prenatal.
