Target Diapers

I've been using Pampers since day one with DS. I decided to try out the target diapers and wipes after reading the reviews on here....but i wasn't a fan!! They definitely were not good for overnight, we had a few leaks and had to change sheets - and we even had some leaks during the day. Should I have bought a size larger??? I'm so disappointed because I was really looking forward to saving some $$ on diapers!

And on a side note - not a fan of the wipes either Chat Icon I felt the pampers wipes were thicker and better.

I tried them recently too when DD started leaking out of luvs. She continued to have leaks and also got a rash which didn't go away until we switched back to luvs (we went up a size and the luvs stopped leaking). I liked the velcro on the target diapers since DD rips open the luvs ones but I didn't like that they seemed to get kind of lumpy when they were wet. I also like pampers wipes and wasn't a fan of the target ones. I've been using luvs for a long time and have always done well with them. Plus I like that I can get that at shoprite for about the same price as target has them and save myself a lot of money by staying out of that store!

I agree with you on the wipes, pampers are my favorite. I actually like target diapers a lot and I think you might be right, maybe you need a size up. My DD is super skinny but really tall so she starts to leak through diapers well before she is supposed to exceed the weight limit. Try the next size up and see if that helps :)

so funny, I LOVE target wipes (in the purple packaging) and we tried target diapers for a while but once DD was mobile, we went back to cruisers! Nothing compares to Pampers Cruiser IMO

Big fan of the Kirkland wipes. Use pampers for nighttime and Kirkland diapers for day.

I never used their wipes but WAS a fan of their diapers (def not for overnight though) for about month. But my love affair with the target diapers has come to an end....dd poops through them almost daily
I have some left so now after dd poops we out her in a target diaper but we had to switch back to Huggies and pampers

Re: Target Diapers

I was always a Pampers user, but then a friend gave me extra size 3 Huggies Snug & Dry diapers (the ones with Mickey & Co on them, not Pooh), at the time that I was reading all of the negative stuff about the changes to Pampers. I really liked the Huggies, but decided to try Target because so many people rave about them. I think they are okay, but we have had 2 urine leaks, and DD never leaked before. I think once I finish these, I'm going back to the Huggies.

Target brand gave my son a rash. I use the wipes (purple packaging) with no problem.

Now I use Generation Earth from BJs for diapers and wipes for my DD. Have not any issues at all, very pleased!

Re: Target Diapers

My girls leaked through 4 of the 6 I used during the day. But that was when they were just about 16 lbs maybe so size 3 may have been too big. I've been using them during the day to use them up now that they are a little bigger and have been fine. I just don't use them when I know they will poop (after bottle). Lately pampers swaddled have been leaking for Hannah so now I just use cruisers at night.

Re: Target Diapers

I use Target diapers here and there but I mainly use Huggies snug & dry and those never leak. I'd never use them over night. I only use huggies overnites for nighttime they never ever leak. I'm really a huge fan of huggies one and done wipes they are my favorite but I also buy pampers. I don't like target wipes I keep a pack for the car for wiping and hands and stuff but not for diaper changes.

I liked Target diapers just fine, never any issue. I now use Luvs only because I don't shop at Target too often. Love their wipes, the purple sensitive ones.

Re: Target Diapers

Ugh, I'm sorry to say I was one of the mom's who RAVED about them on here. Well, cut to a couple of weeks into using them and DD got a very bad rash and on her inner thighs, where the diaper elastic is, there were these two long bright red marks. I tried to go up a size, thinking they might've been too tight on her, but the marks were still there.
Stopped using them, went back to Huggies and the rash & marks gone...

Re: Target Diapers

I used Pampers when she was really little and then I switched to Target diapers and wipes and love them. Never had a problem, but every diaper is different depending on the baby. I know people love Huggies, but my DD always leaked in them.

She sleeps in Target diapers at night and no leaks. You could try a bigger size.

Re: Target Diapers

I have tried every diaper out there. My daughter has gotten a rash with each one so I never know what best. I just buy what the cheapest is or on sale at the time. The only one she has leaked out of was the pampers. No issues with leaking from target or huggies.

interesting - guess it really depends on the child! DS got a bad rash when we tried target - i didn't attribute it to the diapers but maybe that's why. It did take a lot longer than normal to go away.
