Talk to me about Suppositories
So I got the call today that my progesterone is a little low and they are putting me on suppositories. Anyone been there done that? Doesn't sound pleasant.

its not that bad and just like with everything else, you get used to it. i've done suppositories with an applicator, without one and i've even used capsules (pills) vaginally. it's not the most fun but you will be ok! good luck!

It's not bad...doesn't hurt at all just stock up on pantyliners because there is a lot of stuff that comes out. Also just and FYI so you don't freak out but they do cause some spotting.

I used them for my first cycle. It's just a pain in the butt, but we do what we gotta do right  Oh, and it's messy....VERY messy!!!! If it's the endometrin...I used them twice a day and (TMI) I leaked all the live long day lol. I didn't have any pain or side effects from them, and I got my period while on them too. some ladies say they don't get af while on it.

It's not that bad. Wear a liner and you'll be fine. Careful with the applicator. I made myself bleed once. They told me I could have scraped my cervix (yikes). All in all could be worse

Its not that bad- wear a liner and keep one handy
It makes you bloated so drink water
Ive been on it every cycle

I had the regular suppositories without applicator. My Dr wanted me to use them at bedtime and put a pad on. I just showered in the am and didn't notice too much discharge throughout the day but wore a pad anyway. Good luck!

I use them every cycle. The first 3 cycles I used Endometrin which is a pill that you insert with an applicator. Its similar to putting in a tampon. It doesn't hurt. BUT theres lots of leakage. You will have to wear a panty liner or a pad. I was bloated. Now I was sent the gel ones Crinone but I'll be starting that after this IUI.

Agreed. They aren't that bad. Just be mindful of the fact that you may bleed (totally normal and totally temporary). Also, make sure you wear a panty liner because they can be messy and like I said, you might spot or bleed a little.

they r messy but thats about it besides some bloat
wear a pad unless u want to be a slip n slide

I did not have that bad of leakage from them, but I applied them at night.
TMI, but the worst part for me was "cleaning up" after I was done using them. Although a lot comes out, a lot stay in there too....
