Talk to me about Clomid...
Dr. B said that he would like to start me on Clomid next cycle. Possibly along with the Lovenox shots and maybe metformin.
He has ruled out PCOS but said I have a clotting issue and an inhibitor issue regarding my egg quality. So that is why he wants to use the Clomid. The Lovenox and Metformin are for the clotting issue.

I was on Clomid for 4 cycles. Dosage ranging from 50mg to 150mg. The only follie I got was 1 on 100mg. Even then my Dr said that she thought it was a fluke. Some women respond perfectly to clomid. Unfort, I was not one of them.

clomid did nothing for me but i only did 1 cycle with 50mg. but i do have PCOS.
i am on met now for PCOS and will be on lovenox next cycle for blood clotting.

i have just started my IF journey and have done 1 b2b iuis. i was on 50mg of clomid and produced 3 follies.

I conceived my DC on 150mg of clomid, and just got a BFP after 100mg.
I also take lovenox.

I never took more than 50 mg of Clomid and this was my fourth cycle on it (the first three were with timed intercourse, this one was a b2b iui) and I have been responding well to it...got about 3-4 follies (I don't remember..I'm a bad IF student) this cycle...after the first 2 cycles, I had hot flashes and some crankiness as side effects...

I have PCOS and Clomid did nothing for me but give me horrid headaches, blurry vision and extreme mood swings. Everyone reacts differently, but I did not have a great experience with it at all.

I just finished my 4th cycle of Clomid. This cycle I took 200mg. and I produced 4 healthy, mature eggs. I had my IUI a few days ago so I am waiting to see what happens. I never had any side effects with the Clomid. I recommend taking it before bed, I think that is why it never bothers me. I also am on 1500mg./day of Metformin too.
