Let's talk Clomid
I have an appt on monday (CD5) and he's going to start me on clomid.
how many days do I take it for? How long after *should* I ovulate? I'm not sure if he's going to have us do timed BD or what, but I just want to know what options we have.

I'm on my second unmonitored cycle. I took it in the evenings CD5-9. I did not experience any side effects..The first month I O'ed CD12-13 and this cycle and I am still waiting to O - I am on CD18.

You take it Day 5-9 (in some cases you take it more days) and when you ovulate depends on how long your cycles usually are. Some women ovulate on Day 12 and some don't until Day 21. Are you being monitored? Are they triggering ovulation or letting it happen on its own?

Yes I will be monitored. I'm seeing an RE now and he's done a million tests, everythings come back normal. I have PCOS but that's the only thing we're dealing with. Just my cystic ovaries. booooooo
So this is my first cycle using Clomid.
I guess i'll start it monday night since that's CD 5!
