Taking more clomid to ovulate
So last month was out 1st month of TTC again. I took 50mg of clomid for 5 days and ovulated on CD14. This month took same dosage and I am on CD16 and I have a bunch of little follies still at 10mm! What the heck! Dr prescribed 100mg of clomid for the next 5 days. Has anyone had this happen to them and had the increased dosage of clomid work??

i had a similar situation. one cycle i was doing femara and gonal-f. after the first round (5 pills of femara and several injects of gonal-f) i produced no follies over like 8-9mm. so dr. B re-prescribed the entire protocol with higher doses immediately. its not that uncommon. eventually i ended up with 2 mature follies that cycle. i did get pregnant that cycle but it ended up being chemical (which has no relation to the meds since i have immune and thromb issues).
