limits on taking clomid
does anyone know if there is a lifetime limit to taking clomid? for example, if i took it for 2 months to have #1, then take another 2 months for #2, am i done? what if i want to try for a third? do i go to injectibles? so far this is no #2 yet, but i always wanted a big family 5-6 kids, and this infertility is killing that dream

There is no lifetime limit. They usually will not have you take it for more than a few months in a row, though, because it can build up in your system after repetitive dosages and thin out your lining. I have a friend who has had three children and took clomid for 2-4 months before each child.

Re: limits on taking clomid
My clinic told me that 5 months was max. That if it didnt help in that time frame, it was time to move on, because it can cause cysts etc.
