Table Food Ideas - 11 months old
Can you please share some ideas for table foods for an almost one year old? We are transitioning into "real" food now. So far, she eats Cheerios, Puffs and similar type snacks, yogurt, meatballs (occasionally), pancakes, bananas and Pastina. She still eats cereal and Stage 2 foods, but I can tell she wants more.

Table Food Ideas - 11 months old
Dd2 will be 11 months this week and she's entirely in table food for a month now. She is a great eater and eats everything. Give her. Turkey and chicken meatballs. Kale and veggie burgers. Dr. Praegers and Garden Lites are my easy go to meals.

Table Food Ideas - 11 months old
By 9-10 months, my DS was on all table foods. I would just start offering your DC whatever you eat for dinner.

Eggs, grilled cheese, mozzarella string cheese and cheddar cheese sticks, white bread with cream cheese, tomato and avocado, any type of pasta with either sauce or ricotta cheese.

Yeah my dd actually ate a more well rounded diet at 11 months then she does at now at 22 months! She loved food and was eating pretty much everything we were eating.
She loved avocado, berries, edamame, pasta, butternut squash, cucumber, melon, meatballs, chicken, cheese and broccoli.

DS1 was eating everything I'd eat at that age except whole nuts and honey. DS2 is 9 months and also eats everything I do. It's been like this since they were 6 months old.

Thank you! Are there certain foods she can't try? I think I remember strawberries or eggs being off limit for a certain period of time?

Honey is about it. No honey until after 1, not even as an ingredient in a food. Unless your family has a history of food allergies, you can give anything else.

DS is around the same age... he'll be 11m mid June.
He eats everything including berries and eggs. He's had peanut butter already too. New studies say waiting to introduce increases the likelihood of allergies.... who knows.
We were told syrup and honey were off limits until 1

I agree with this. I'd only add whole nuts (but not because of allergies but because they don't really dissolve in the mouth, they're hard to chew -unless they have molars- and because of their shape, they can get easily lodged). Salt (I wouldn't really worry about this unless u're a salty person, their little system can't really handle salt as well as adults)

my DD loves orzo with butter
ETA at daycare they give her pancakes, grilled cheese pieces, pizza... i think pretty much anything as long as they cut it up small.
