Switching lawyers...
So our lawyer turned out to be a real jerk, never returning phone calls, etc.
We've found another one and are awaiting a call back, HOWEVER, in the meantime the old lawyer has our contract and engineer report.
Has anyone ever switched lawyers at this point because they were unhappy and found the lawyer to be incompetant?

walk, drive, run - whatever it takes - get over to the old lawyers office and demand that your file be handed to you!! then go over to the new lawyers office and give your file to him.

I'm going to most likely drive  and find him today..he really picked the wrong person for this, I'm all fired up....I hate when people are hired and DON'T do their job....its unreal

No we didnt' even sign them YET..he kept telling me all week I have to go to my mailbox..seriously WHERE is your mailbox GUAM? Guys history as of this afternoon.
