Swingset
Anyone have any suggestions for a good swingset for kids. I like the one at Costco that is about 1K and i definitely dont want to spend more than that. But then I saw a bunch on line at Wal-Mart for much cheaper and they look ok but I hate to not see them in person (theyre not at the stores). Then I saw more at Toys r us and started to get overwhelmed. Im tempted to just get the Costoco one but done want to overspend.
Thanks!

Re: Swingset
I believe my sister paid just under 1k for a very nice one at BJs. It has swings, a slide, club house type area and bench

Re: Swingset
We just bought this one at BJs for $800 - there was a coupon in the monthly book.
We looked around for awhile because I wanted to keep the price around 1K and DH was pretty specific about the strength of the swing beam. Finding one that met both of our wants was tough. Most of the ones at Walmart and Toys R Us in that price range had poor reviews, low weight/age limits and just didn't seem like they would last long enough. We found the one at BJs and were both happy, DH just started putting it together this weekend and so far so good
If you do a search there are a few swing set threads on the parenting board.

Re: Swingset
We got ours from home depot online right around christmas for 699. It retails for over 1000, plus it was free shipping.
It was a "disney" swingset (doesn't have anything to do with disney though).
The one we originally had we bought from TRU and it was a basic wooden one for about 500 and there was nothing wrong with it other than it was a PITA to put together.

Re: Swingset
We researched for awhile and wound up buying one from Costco. You need to read reviews and find out what the sets are made of to see how they will hold up. We found most quality sets were around 1k and up.

Re: Swingset
We purchased a Gorilla Playset and I highly recommend them!!!! It's really well made. We stumbled upon the set we wanted at Costco, but we were able to find it cheaper elsewhere online.
