Swing sets - placement in yard re visibility of it from inside

If you have a swingset, is it visible from inside the kitchen? Does your DC wind up bugging you all the time to go out and play if they see it constantly? Or is it a must and very practical to be able to see it from inside, for when your DC get older?

Also if you had to choose b/w a pool being visible from your windows or a swingset, which one would you choose re being closer to the home/window view?

Yes, my swing set is visible from my kitchen. It was not "optimal" placement in my backyard, but I wanted it visible for when my DC are older and out there playing on it.

My DS doesn't bug me to go out on it at all.

The pool, well, I think I would always be outside when my DC are in the pool (even when they are older) so I wouldn't care if that was visible or not.

I have play stuff in my backyard and I can see it from the kitchen, however if I had a pool I would never ever ever let my kids be outside near the pool without me being there with them, however I would send my kids out to the swingset on their own...so the swingset should be seen from the kitchen.
