Swimming vest for 5 yr old
DS is 5 and still doesn't know how to swim. I have done lessons, but still needs work. We are going away next month and want to bring a vest for him on the beach. For swim lessons he has the bubble. In our house or other pools he has those swimmies on his arm.
What's the best vest for him now?

Have you tried the puddle jumper? I really love that thing and so does DD. I assume they make them for his weight?

He has a puddle jumper but I think he does so much now that I just want a vest to keep him up more and keep his arms free to move and swim. I'll use the puddle jumper for his 3 yr old brother.
I do love it now but think he'll forget all he learned and not try to swim.

I bought this for DS who s 2.5, he doesn't swim either,but we used this for swim lessons.

Thanks. This looks perfect. DS is on the small side and only weighs about 34 pounds.

My older son has been wearing a speedo vest for years ......I bought him the next size last year, and his brother took the smaller one.
Neither of them really liked the puddle jumper -they were uncomfortable
