Swimming Lessons
Any recommendations besides Saf-T-Swim for swimming lessons in Suffolk?
We had such a horrible experience there with my son and he is now petrified of the water. I need to find another place so we can hopefully get him over this fear they placed in him.

I am taking DD (who is only16 months) to the YMCA in Patchogue. Since she is younger than 3, its a mommy and me type class, basically just to get LO familiar/comfortable in the water. But they do have classes for older kids too. For her class it was $70 for a program membership and $100 for classes (8 classes, once a week). We are on our 3rd week and she is enjoying it.

Would you mind sharing the negative experience you had with saf-t-swim? I was thinking about taking my DD there for lessons but I'm hesitant to if she's going to be traumatized :( FM if you're more comfortable...thanks so much!

We go to NYSC at the outlets in Deer Park - we are really impressed with the program and instructors.
