Swaddling question....
Did your DC hate the swaddle? I want to swaddle him but he wiggles so much to get out. Should I just let him fuss until he gets used to it? I have the miracle blanket and DD loved it but he hates his arms in it. I feel as though he needs to be swaddled because of the secureness of it.

We have the Swaddle Me. DD does squirm in it a bit until we get her settled in. Without it though, none of us would get much sleep.

DS is 6 weeks and was only swaddled at the hospital. I tried a few times but he hates it!!

We still swaddled DS until a couple of weeks ago. He's 11 weeks now and so strong that he breaks out of the swaddle me and everything else we wrap him in. But when he actually stayed in it he didn't mind it too much and he passed out.

Yes, DD seemed to hate it and would constantly break out of it. We were presistent with it, and it's been a lifesaver at bedtime and naptime as well. She still doesn't like it and she will squirm her way out of it until she is in a position (with her hands/arms) that she likes and off to sleep she goes.
The funny part about it though is that if we don't swaddle her arms in the Swaddle Me, she fusses and cries until we do. We think she just likes the challenge of breaking out of it. Strange kid....

All babies hate being swaddled. Try reading the happiest baby on the block ( or watching the DVD) , it shows you how to get them soothed once swaddled, worked like a charm for us every single time.

Ds hated being swaddled in a receiving blanket but LOVED the swaddle me. I say give it a little while and see if he gets used to it. Some kids love it, and some dont. Good luck!
